Welcome to Craft, Design and Technology
We are a young team with a varied background from Architecture, Design and manufacture businesses to motorbike mechanic. We feel this unique background puts us in a great place to inspire our young learners and always be open to positive change.
Our BGE courses are focussed with our course pathways in mind. We aim to give the young learners the best experience of our subject and technological improvements including AI and AR with the aim to demonstrate how these skills are applicable to the wider society. We also run Creative thinking skills with the S2 cohort to allow pupils to approach challenges in a creative and collaborative manner.
We utilise our Computer Aided Design suites along with our Computer Aided Manufacture facilities to produce products of the highest quality with a focus on the future jobs market combined with the traditional woodwork courses to give all learners the opportunity to succeed.
We are implementing the Practical Metal Working course in the coming session to provide new opportunities.
